- Know your
disability and be able to discuss your needs.
- Meet with
the Disability Support Services Department to review any documentation
you may need to receive reasonable accommodations while in school.
- Try out
any accommodation technology prior to the start of school.
- Tour housing
and academic facilities to assure accessibility issues are addressed.
- Meet with
any necessary medical support services providers.
- Review your
class schedule with the Disability Support Services Department to assure
accommodations are in place.
- Share knowledge
of what accommodations have been successful.
- Make accommodation
requests early as the school will need time to process your request.
